The time has come!

The house is quiet, everyone asleep but me!  I am getting the house ready for 40 people.  Were going to pack everyone inside our quaint little home considering it is supposed to rain all day Saturday!  We will all be celebrating Carter's first birthday.  I can't believe it...already.  I must say I have mixed emotions about the whole thing.  On one hand I am so excited for our closest family and friends to be all together to celebrate my little boy, but on the other hand all I can think about is where did the time go?  Him growing up before my very eyes is exciting and heart wrenching all at the same time!  Tomorrow is the last day I can say I have an 11 month old from now on I will be saying I have a 1 year old!  Everyone say a prayer that the rain will hold off and mommy makes it through the day without smearing my mascara!
